The Proroute H685 4G Router is also backwards compatible with existing 3G networks in the UK (900/2100Mhz) and provides high speed DC-HSPA+ (Up to 42Mbps) connectivity as well as standard HSPA+ (21Mbps), HSPA, EDGE (2G) and GPRS (2G) connectivity so can be used as a 3G router and when 4G network is available then by simply swapping the SIM to a new 4G SIM card then the user can benefit from higher speed 4G services.
