Standard Plug Lock – 3 Pin

The plug lock can also be used without any cable attached, to lock the socket from use.
The plug lock comes with a cable blanking plate that covers the cable inlet and can be used as a socket lock.
You can also use a plug lock, attached to any appliance, to prevent it from being plugged into a socket.
All you do is lock the plug while it’s out of the socket, preventing unauthorised access or faulty equipment from being switched on.

Typical applications:

• It can be used for portable appliances in hospitals/security centres where you don’t want the plug to be easily removed.
• Office areas where the electrical portable appliance must not be disconnected, for example, a network hub, laser printer, or vending machine.
• Appliances that you don’t want to be plugged into a socket or for anyone to use (by locking the plug outside the socket)
• Use for any home products, fridge freezer, games console, TV or computer, basically any plug that you do not want to be disconnected, or even connected.
• Showroom areas or nightclubs where the public could unplug the electrical appliance.
• At home, if you are unfortunate to be burgled, they will have to cut the wire and maybe trip out the power before they can take the item.
• Ideally suited for childcare facilities/crèches, etc., where inquisitive little fingers may wander.
• Use the plug lock without wiring to an appliance to prevent other people from using the power socket. This is great for airports, nurseries, or other public places where people can charge laptops or mobile phones.
