The PS-25-L Leaded Transformer is fully encapsulated, with connection leads for both primary and secondary connections. It is also fully insulated, making it ideal to mount directly to a Fan Coil Unit.

Information

Transformers are rated in volt-amps (VA). It defines the limit of the magnetising field inside the transformer. If this limit is exceeded, the transformer saturates and ceases to function properly. This is especially important when the transformer has multiple secondary windings.
To determine the required transformer VA, multiply the secondary voltage by the required amperes:
For example, VA=Volts x Amperes or 24V x 1.04 amperes = 24.96 VA.
To determine the maximum transformer current, divide the transformer VA by the transformer secondary voltage.
For example, A=VA /  Volts or 25 VA / 24 Volts = 1.04 A.
