Overview

The GasGuard is ideal for when appliances are not fitted with flame failure devices, or can be used to provide additional peace of mind when they are.

With a backlit LCD, the GasGuard will clearly indicate any issues with external devices, such as ventilation systems, and display gas pressures and Gas Sensor levels.

  • Clear LCD indication & instructions
  • No commissioning required
  • Annual Service Reminder
  • 24VDC auxiliary power output
  • Interfaces for:
    – Gas Sensors
    – CO2 Sensor
    – Ventilation Systems

Dimensions

Height: 180 mm
Width: 180 mm – 190 mm – including hinge
Depth: 60 mm – 65 mm – including stop & key switch

Basic Operation

Turning the key switch to ON will start the proving cycle by energising the Gas Valve to pressurise the system. The valve will then close, and the pipework is monitored for 30 seconds for pressure drops.

Upon receiving a fault signal from any external devices, the GasGuard will isolate the gas to prevent potential issues, and the LCD will indicate the issue and how to rectify it.

Turning the key switch to the OFF position or pressing the panel stop button will isolate the gas supply.

The internal Open and Display buttons are also available to aid with commissioning and fault finding, providing details of ALL interfaces at the press of a button.
