U1000MkII-HM is an ultrasonic clamp-on thermal, heat/energy meter.
It uses ultrasound to measure flow rate and is also equipped with PT100 temperature sensors to measure flow and return temperatures.
The U1000MKII-HM displays energy rate and totalised energy with pulse output and communication options, so it can be used as a standalone meter or as an integral part of Automatic Monitoring & Targeting (aM&T) or a Building Energy Management System (BEMS).
- Includes a pulse output and PT100 temperature sensors
- Available with Pulse and the optional Modbus, BACnet or M-Bus outputs
- Simple to install
Utilising ultrasonic transit-time technology, the U1000MKII-HM Fixed Ultrasonic Flow/ Energy Meter can perform accurate, non-invasive flow measurements. It can measure flow between 0.1m/s and 10m/s (0.3ft/s and 32ft/s) to an accuracy of ±1% to ±3% (for 0.3m/s/ 1ft/s). The U1000MKII-HM Fixed Ultrasonic Flow/ Energy Meter works by simultaneously transmitting ultrasound in both directions between the clamp-on transducers.
The time difference between the emitted ultrasounds is directly proportional to the flow velocity. The pipe’s cross-sectional area and flow velocity can be used to calculate the volumetric flow.
Additionally, the U1000MKII-HM Fixed Ultrasonic Flow/ Energy Meter’s PT100 temperature sensors can measure flow and return temperatures between 0°C and 85°C to a resolution of 0.1°C.
Measurements, including energy rate and totalised energy, as well as installation and service information, are displayed on the backlit LCD.
Finally, the U1000MKII-HM Fixed Ultrasonic Flow/Energy Meter is easy to install. The user needs only to connect the U1000MKII-HM Fixed Ultrasonic Flow/Energy Meter to power, enter the pipe’s material and inner diameter, adjust the sensors, and clamp it onto the pipe.
The U1000MKII-HM Fixed Ultrasonic Flow/Energy Meter is a rugged, reliable, and cost-effective alternative to traditional in-line meter installations; it delivers consistent, high performance in industrial environments.
