Heat Pumps

PICV
Another important factor to bear in mind is that a PICV and an actuator should be thought of as a matched pair. A PICV matched to an actuator provides a more responsive heating and cooling system, which means people are more comfortable, and a stable room temperature will optimise energy efficiency.
Plug Lock
The 3 pin plug lock can be mechanically locked into its socket via the plugs earth pin so that it cannot be easily removed from the socket. This is achieved by by rotating the disc on the plug top, when the disc is rotated a plastic rod inside the earth pin of the plug is moved downwards which spreads apart two rubber earth locking pins, thus locking the plug into the socket via friction.
Bright Socket
A plug socket with embedded emergency lighting, on the front of the plug socket. These are low voltage long-lasting LEDs that will illuminate when the mains electrical supply is removed.
