Networkable I/O with 8 Universal Inputs and 8 Outputs – Titan

The Smart Input/Output (IO) modules from Titan Products are designed to provide additional, cost-effective networkable device points for a BACnet MS/TP or Modbus RTU network.

The 8-way module devices are available with 8 universal input configurations and a variety of output options, including relay, digital, and analogue outputs.

Designed for HVAC and BMS markets, the Smart IO modules can be used for a wide range of monitoring, control, and Positioning applications that include:

• Monitoring of Environmental conditions (temperature, Co2, humidity, pressure, light levels etc.)
• Energy Meter monitoring
• Positioning and monitoring the position of Valves and Ventilation dampers
• Positioning, monitoring, and enabling plant (pumps, fans, etc.)
• Input detection for alarms (Leak, windows, switches, etc.)

The universal inputs can be used to monitor:
• Resistive inputs – NTC: 10K3A1, 10K4A1, 20K6A1, PT1000 and NI1000
• 0-10V, 0-20mA active inputs
• Digital ON/OFF contact switches
• Digital pulsed inputs – 25ms pulse width

The DIN Rail modules offer extremely simple setup via the Commissioning App or an intuitive PC / Laptop program (supplied separately) that allows each device to be addressed for the network, universal inputs to be configured and read, the device outputs to be written to and read, and for the device, information to be viewed.

Smart IO modules are supplied with Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities as standard. This allows the IO modules to be set up via the Titan Commissioning App, with the desired setup passed to the Smart IO module instantly, with or without power applied to the units.

The Titan Products NFC commissioning app allows for quick and simple setup of BACnet or Modbus network parameters, along with configuration of any inputs on compatible Titan Products smart devices. The intuitive app allows setup in seconds, with or without power, enabling the devices to be connected to the system network or building management system.
Devices can also be read instantly to provide visibility into the existing setup and enable device addressing.
